Founding President of the Peruvian Society of Applied and Computational Mathematics (SPMAC)
Currently, the investigations of Dr Obidio Rubio are framed in the numerical solution of mathematical models related to the Oceanic Circulation in the "El Niño" phenomenon, the Transport of CO2 in the Alveolar sacs of the Human lung, and Mesoscale Time Simulations of the North of the Peru, using the Brazilian Regional Atmospheric Modeling System (BRAMS). Further; participates in the organization and realization of scientific events such as the Fast Workshop, JP3I, CIMAC, Pan-American Workshop, Pec3, Peruvian Conference, Finite Element, etc.
